After all the traveling we were doing in 2019, we decided to spend four months at our condo in Lake Ozark to get to know the area and hopefully make some new friends.
When we arrived in November, we immediately joined the local Kiwanis group. It just so happened they were planning their annual Christmas for Kids event, so we volunteered to help. We were excited to actually attend the event and auction, plus to help raise money for many local families.
We had several friends and family members come to visit, which kicked me into finding fun things to do in the area. I decided to write this post to share the fun things we found to do in case someone else comes to Lake Ozark (and surrounding areas) in the winter.

I'd say you are welcome to come rent our condo during the winter, but you can't, we'll be there enjoying the lake when there aren't a ton of people around. It's pretty nice and relaxing at the lake. If you ever get a chance to check it out, do! The people here are so friendly - you'll be glad you came. If you decide you want to stay, let us know, we have a great realtor we can put you in touch with.
If you are familiar with the area and have a favorite place to visit in the Lake Ozark or surrounding areas, please let us know. We are still learning the area.
