This was a very quick stop as we needed a place to stay on the way back to Williamsburg to cut the drive down. We stayed at the Gettysburg Farm which is a Thousand Trails campground.
We arrived early enough to check out the campground and it appears to be a really nice place to camp. They have a large petting zoo - much nicer than the last place as it's a large farm for the animals to have plenty of space to roam. The campground is large and looks very family-friendly with lots of things for kids to do. If you didn't know, Pennsylvania is such a beautiful state!
Abraham Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg Address nearby so we had planned to go visit the memorial. However, we were so tired from the long drive and setting up that we opted to pass on it. Maybe next time... Instead we lounged around with the dogs and relaxed. It was nice!
This was a very short stop so I can't really say much about the town or things to do. We spent 0 money as we stayed in and ate. We even got a bit of work done while there. I will say our WiFi was great, the spaces were level and large plus it was a gated campground so felt very safe.
Next stop, Williamsburg!
